When making collection calls there are specific times you can and cannot make collection calls or visits. Most holidays fall into that category, as well as not calling before 8 a.m. or after 8:30 p.m. (debtors time zone). You can't call on Sundays unless you can prove you tried calling during normal business hours and have been unable to get a response.
It is futile to call the week of Christmas, but Valentines day is a different story. Feel free to make calls today just don't start calling until 8 a.m. and finish before 8:30 p.m. tonight.
