The FDCPA is an abreviation for The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If you are going to collect money for your business, for your employer, for someone else, or you are a bill collector for a collection agency, you must be familiar with the FDCPA.
The FDCPA outlines what a bill collector is, what they can and cannot do, and what a customer or debtors rights are.
The purpose of the FDCPA is to eliminate abusive debt collection practices by any debt collector, to insure that any debt collectors refrain from using abusive debt collection practices to collect any money.
