Last year was my first year to have the opportunity to attend the BEA (Book Expo of America) in New York. I researched and prepared to get the most benefit for myself and it paid off. I had 2 publishers asking me to write a book for them, so I got myself a Literary Agent and she negotiated the best deal for me.
I have completed that book and it will be published by Entrepreneur Press in August. I will be visiting with them at the BEA when I go this June to the expo which is being held in Washington D.C. this year.
I was so successful in my efforts to get a book deal on my first time attending the book expo that I had many interviews and article requests so others could learn how to work the expo to their advantage.
I am looking forward to meeting new publishers and authors as well as people I have met this year online who are also attending. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to write a book, has written a book, is s self publisher or an expert in their field.
