A good collector should be able to:
- Identify the most common forms of credit activity
- Name the three major credit reporting agencies and their function in credit extension
- List five important federal laws and their roles in governing the credit life cycle
- Describe why listening is important and name three components of active listening
- Identify the differences between assertive and aggressive communications
- How to open and close a collection call with courtesy
- Strategies for motivating customers or debtors at different stages of delinquency.
What would your answers be?
I think I am a great collector but my 5 federal laws may be different than others,and I dont know the most common forms of credit activity.
I would love to see what you think a good collector is.
