You MUST Squeak to get paid. The Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease can be applied to many things in your life. Some Squeaky things that get our attention and cause us to act on them are:

A ringing phone, we answer it because it just won't go away or stop ringing unless we pick it up.
Same with a crying baby or whining pet
A squeaky hinge or handle, drives us crazy until we squirt it with something to make it stop.

See what I mean? When you squeak the loudest you will get results.

If you want your money, you have to learn to squeak. You have to make it a priority to pay attention to your customer accounts and follow up on them. You have to do this from the beginning so that you set a precedence and a "routine" up so that you don't have to spend so much time later trying to "clean up" the past due invoices.
