I read an ad recently that I had to share with you, it said:
This is so true! Being a business owner who has customers that owe you money, you should feel empowered and strong about getting your money. You are entitled to the money you are owed for the work or product you provided.
Never should a customer act arrogant or try to make you feel "bad" about collecting your money. If they do, you need to drop them as a customer. who needs customers like that?
They don't work for free, yet they expect you to. dump them and move on to good paying customers who appreciate the work you do and appreciate you.
If you have to put on your bill collector cap, your either dealing with a customer who has run into hard times and who will work with you or a real live deadbeat who had no intention of paying you and is trying to get something for nothing.
The sooner you can diferentiate between the two, the more succesful you will be.
