Collections & Credit Risk a subsidiary of Source Media is doing a cover story in February of the Top 5 Women in Collections. Source media provides market information, including news, analysis, and insight to the financial services and related industries such as accounting and technology, through its publications, industry-standard data applications, seminars and conferences.
I nominated a member of my Credit & Collections Association for one of the 5 spots. Corinna Petry, the managing editor at Collections & Credit Risk contacted me to thank me for nominating an associate but said “Our editorial board feels very strongly that YOU qualifie to be one of the Top 5 Women in Collections”. I was SO surprised and happy! This is very exciting, since debt collection is a field that has been dominated by men, I am so proud to be a part of this!

I have been a bill collector for 17 years and started and ran my own collection agency for 8 years. I also started and still maintains my 10 year old Credit & Collections Association, I am the author of 5 books in my “Collecting Money Series” as well as the Ultimate Credit and Collections Handbook published by Entrepreneur Press.
I was also just recently accepted as a volunteer expert for the allexperts.com community in the debt collection category where people can ask questions and get expert answers from people who have experience in that industry.
