Everyone is familiar with Jay Leno, the popular Tonight Show host on NBC. We all know he is funny but did you know he collects cars? Did you also know that he worked 300 gigs a year doing stand up before hitting the big time? He has a very strong work ethic which shows since he is so successful.
You can do the same when collecting money that is owed to you. How seriously do you take getting paid? How badly do you want to get paid? Do you like to work for free?
Like Jay, you need to be determined and have a strong work ethic to make sure you get paid for the work that you do and that you don’t have to waste time that you could be working and making more money, collecting from people who have not paid you.
Leno drives one car from his collection to work every day. Starting today make it your goal to get paid from at least one past due customer every single day until there are no more past due customers. You can do it. If you had to collect on that one account to feed your kids tonight or to buy the gas you need to drive home, you would do it. You would stay at work until it was done.
