
DAYS BEYOND TERMS (DBT)
Days Beyond Terms is the average number of days a firm pays its bills past the invoice due date. The DBT is weighted by the dollar amount of each account. The prediction is a forecast of the DBT for 60 days into the future. It is based on the trend in DBT, the type of industry of the business, derogatory public record information, collection accounts, number of inquiries, years in business/on file, and other factors.
DBT NORMS
DBT Norms let you compare the company’s DBT against the average DBT for other businesses in the same industry and the average DBT for all industries. The three most common purchasing terms for the company’s industry are also listed
(e.g., NET 30, 2/10N30, NET 10).
DBT Range Based on Current Payment Behavior indicates where the business’ current DBT falls in comparison to other businesses in the
