The new iPod Nano comes with a 2-inch video screen, 3 games, and a new user interface (UI) with a new “Cover Flow” similar to iPhones. There is a new iPod Classic design and storage capabilities. It is incredibly thin and light for all it does.
Apple has sold more than 110 million iPods since they debuted in 2001. Can everyone who uses them be using them just for personal use or do you incorporate the use of your iPod into your business?
In December of 2005 Mark Vevera, vice president of marketing and product management at Trinity Workplace Learning said the addition of iPod as a delivery mechanism is a natural extension of Trinity’s product line, according to Vevera, it allows them to make on-demand personal player-based training an option to our more than 2 million end-users and further extends the reach for our library of digital training and education in the workplace.
Vevera told internetnews.com that the first courses weren’t likely to appear until the second quarter of 2006. I wonder if anyone has utilized this service, especially in their billing or customer collection departments and what the results have been.
Please leave your comments if you have used your iPod to help your business, let us know how you use it to benefit your business and what the results have been!
