
Under legislation, most people who pay federal income taxes will get up to $600 for individuals, or as much as $1,200 for married couples and an additional $300 per child. These amounts phase out for incomes above $75,000 for individuals and $150,000 for married couples that file jointly according to the Wall Street Journal.
Will any of the customers that owe you money get this money? When you are making collection calls you can ask them about their income and if they know if they are getting this money. Then ask them to use that money to pay your bill. Try to be educated about the Stimulus Plan so you will know if any of your customers may benefit from it and therefore be able to pay your bill.
