When I first started working in an office I was an administrative assistant. At the time, I just needed a job and had the skills but soon found out that an administrative assistant is someone who does anything and everything to make their boss look good. I not only answered the phones, opened and delivered the mail, took messages, made copies, picked up lunch, and anything else my boss needed but I worked hard and long and did an outstanding job.
The position of administrative assistant might be one of the most thankless and overworked jobs in many industries. Today is the day for you to show your appreciation to your administrative assistants!
When you really think about it, could you get by without your administrative assistant?

What can you do today to show your administrative staff that you appreciate all they do?
If you have any administrative staff in your credit department one of the best things you can do is show your appreciation for a hard job done well.
Make it a point to do something special for your assistants today! Buy them lunch, buy them coffee, give them a magazine subscription, give them a day off with pay or give them a certificate to go out to dinner with their spouse or a friend to celebrate a job well done!
